Kenwyn Class (ARB)

This weeks star of the week is Jake Moger!

Jake has been smashing his targets, spelling his name, etc etc. But not only that, Jake has been joining in with all our festive activities and is even our class elf because he’s so joyful! He has enjoyed meeting santa, decorating snowflakes with glitter, and painting stockings. Well done Jake the Elf!!

One week to go everyone!

We had our last horse riding session. It was very festive, we were all Santa’s and Jake was our elf. Even the horses had tinsel headbands! We would all like to thank RDA very much for your patience and understanding of all our children's needs. They have had a fantastic year with you, and are all looking forward to next year. Merry Christmas to all the lovely ladies and men at RDA, and of course the horses too!

Star of the week

This weeks star of the week is Alex Cornish! We are really proud of how Alex has been making more effort to interact with his friends, sharing outdoor ball games, and sharing his favourite activity – water play!! He has been very happy this week, and we’ve enjoyed seeing his cheeky smile everyday!

Ho Ho Ho!

Father Christmas has come to Kenwyn Class.

Some of our children can’t access mainstream christmas activities, so Father Christmas came to us!!

Thankyou for the visit Father Chrismtas and your little helpers, everyone in Kenwyn loved it!

Star of the week!

We have two pupils who have had a great week – so, since we just couldn’t choose, this week we have TWO stars!

Evie Rickard has had a superb week, and has done brilliant listening. She has really enjoyed sharing, been considerate of others and has been playing nicely with her friends. She has also been busy colouring in our gingerbread house – thank you Evie! We are all really proud of you.

Alfred Newman has been trying so hard this week to get ‘star of the week’, and his hard work has paid off!! He has been very polite and respectful towards staff, and caring towards his friends in the playground. He’s also been a superstar when practicing the chrismas play – and is so enthusiastic to learn the songs!! Well done Alfred!

Star of the week!

Our star of the week this week is Alfie Owens!

Alfie has come back to school this week after being unwell. A warm welcome back Alfie!

Alfie has done really well adjusting back to his school routines, and has come back ready and raring to learn. It is lovely to see his enthusiasm for school. As always, Alfie has done brilliant listening, and been a very helpful and kind member of our class. A well deserved star of the week!

Horse riding is one of our favourite enrichment sessions. This was our latest session on Monday.

Star of the week!

This weeks star of the week is Evie Smith!

Evie has had a fantastic week. She has been taking part in all activities, especially enjoying being creative with sticking, painting and mark making. Evie has been very happy and smiley this week which has definitely brightened up Kenwyn Class on all those wet rainy days! She has also taken part in lots of shared play, and had care and consideration for her friends.

Well done Evie!

We also have a “Kindness Champion” in honor of this week being Kindness Week.

It is Jack Powell!

Jack is very thoughtful of his friends, and always want to share – even his yummy gingerbread men! He is willing to help, helping to set up snack, and helping to set up activities for him and his friends. He is a good friend to everyone and we are lucky to have him in Kenwyn Class!

Kindness week

Kenwyn Class is #proudtobekind.

We have been busy celebrating World Kindness Week! We have made a rainbow with all our hand prints to encourage ourselves to be a “rainbow in someone else’s cloud”. We have been learning what makes us good friends, and how we are all different but that is OK!

Be Nice, Be Kind, and Spread Happiness – not just this week, but all the time!

Love, Kenwyn Class.

Star of the week!

This weeks star of the week is Ben Pan! Well done Ben.

Ben has been doing brilliant listening, following instructions in his learning, and has been making progress in his communication. In addition Ben has done some fantastic home learning based on our Tregolls fireworks, writing all about the “red curly ones” and hot dogs! What fun!
