Welcome to Year 2.
We hope you have had a lovely summer break and are ready to start our exciting journey together. Mrs Arnold and myself wish you a warm welcome to Camel class.
This term the children wanted to learn about inventions and mechanics. We will be asking ourselves ‘Would our invention change the world?’
We had a fantatsic launch day, the children became scientists for the day making their own crystals, volcanoes and watching what happens to to sweets in lemonade.
Please find our Autumn planning and welcome letter below.
We had fantastic time at Flambards learning about how the different rides work and getting a look behind the scene of two of them. We also took a trip round the Victorian village to look at inventions from the past and how they have influenced our lives. We also got to go on some of the rides.
Thank you to all the parents who accompanied the children and to the staff at Flambards for making it an unforgettable visit.
This was definitely the most popular ride of the day. #camelclass #helfordclass looks like the adults enjoyed it as much as the children. 😂😂
