Children from Years 5 and 6 experienced a fun, tiring and muddy morning at the Primary School Grass Track Cycling. The children worked in teams of 4 to cycle around a track on mountain bikes. For each lap a new leader had to take over and the final time was clocked when the third rider crossed the finish line after 8 laps. The children coped well with getting used to the gears on the bikes and the muddy conditions following a downpour as the competition kicked off. They worked hard to stick together and there were some very tired legs at the end! Thank you to the organisers and Sam Legett from British Cycling for a super event!
