Pupils from years 2-5 welcomed Simon, actor and storyteller, to listen to some “Gripping Yarns” These were truly British tales and supported our learning about British Values of  Tolerance, individual liberty and more through clever and funny storytelling. Simon adopted many characters to tell his stories- all with a message for the listeners. We learned about dragons, how to make nail soup and how elephants got their long trunks.   Classes were able to follow up in the classroom with discussions about British Values- in Truro class we made British Value posters and discussed the importance of “The rule of Law” and “Democracy”.
